- Grease a pan with 2 tablespoons of butter.
- In a large saucepan, combine 1 cup of butter, evaporated milk, sugar, brown sugar, light corn syrup, and salt.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it reaches a boil.
- Continue to boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans and vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into the greased pan and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into pieces and coat with melted milk chocolate candy coating.
