- Arrange the chicken breasts in the crockpot so they’re lying flat and spaced for even cooking. (If your crockpot runs hot, you can layer—but flatter is better for juiciness.)
- In a bowl, stir together melted butter, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. The butter helps the cheese disperse and brings everything together into a creamy, dreamy mixture.
- Pour this flavorful sauce all over the chicken, making sure each piece is well coated. Don’t skimp—the sauce is what creates that signature richness.
- Cover with the crockpot lid. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender and cooked through.
- Right before serving, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top. Spoon the chicken and sauce over pasta, rice, or however you love it.
