  • 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. Press the pie crusts into the pan, sealing any seams.
  4. Prick the crust all over with a fork.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
  7. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  8. Pour the filling over the warm crust.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  10. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
