Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and granulated sugar.
  4. Add melted butter and stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together brown sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
  7. Crack in the eggs and whisk until fully combined.
  8. Stir in chopped pecans and salt.
  9. Pour the pecan filling over the hot crust and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until the filling is set.
  11. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
  12. Optionally, sprinkle sea salt on top before serving.
